Ho to make wooden gokart

The go-karts were called go-carts or carts, is a simple vehicles that doesn't move automatically, therefore someone must push the go-kart and driver, or use the kart for going down hills. In these plans, spoked wheels are used, as this allows the driver to to turn the wheels by hand, much like on a wheelchair. Normally - the steering wheel is very simple, and can be done by the drivers feet, or by using a length of rope to rotate the front wheels, much like on old stage coaches seen on television. Typically on simple wooden kart, or soap-box-carts, there are no brakes, and as a result - are to be used for slow speeds only. It is possible to include brakes off a bicycle etc., however this complicates the build.

The simple wooden go-kart, the plans of which can be seen below can be made by anyone. Only simple common tools are required, along with some materials easily found at home, or which can be purchased very cheaply in a (do-it-yourself) , or hobby shop. The things we need: Hammer, hand saw, Electric hand drill, a measuring tape, a metal hecksaw and 4 spoked wheels.

Reflection

Theme: how we express ourselves
Title: I belief,you belief

central idea: the beliefs and cultures are conveyed trough rituals, celebration, the arts and the way people live their lives.

reflection:

when we had the UOI new subject I learn many things about Protestant,Catholic, Buddhism,Sikhism and Shinto. We made aboard display about the Protestant religion. We Know about the stuff what did they do at Christmas and celebration. At the UOI subject we even made a story about what are we belief in.

I wrote about that if I am afraid of ghost they will come and scare us!And I wrote about dinosaurs and I believe they were still alive. And I believe that if I bark to my dog they will understand what I am saying I believe that because when I bark,my dog bark to me again.

Last two weeks we went to Istiqlal mosque and catherdal church at Jakarta. The
mosque were the second biggest mosque in Indonesia. In the mosque we went to the atrium and the place for Imam (the leader) to pray. At Catherdal, we went to the museum. At the museum we saw the devil called Gargoyle.

Before the exhibition, we had to write about the history in our blog. I wrote about Protestant religion. At Christmas they must go to church 5 times a week sing carols and made mashed potato, stuffed turkey and eggnog. Sometimes they make eggnog if they were cold at the winter.

Before the religion project we make a writing about Beatrix Potter. She is the one who made colored books. She made Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit. She even love somebody but the man she loved was dead. We even make a haiku poem about God's love.

I needed to be a thinker to count and find the right syllables for each words and it's a little bit hard but i keep on counting and i find many words that about God's love.

Protestant

The message of the Cross is to sacrafice a innocent lamb.

Have you ever heard about Protestantism? Do you know about the Protestant Religion History? What kind of believers are them? I will tell you about it so you will know more about the history of Protestant.

The Protestant is one of religion in this world. It is as part of Christianity because Protestants followers believe in Jesus. The history of Protestant was started by a reformer, Martin Luther. He was a German theologian. Why he did reformation? It was because there were so many activities in Catholic Religion that did not fixed in Christianity and far from what the Bible said. At that time, the leaders of country became the leader of church so the people were afraid to the leaders. They had to follow what the leader said even though it was wrong.

Martin Luther did not want to follow the wrong thing. He just wanted to follow what the Bible said. That was why he came to front to do reformation. He did the Protestant Reformation with his publication in October 31, 1517. This publication was called his Ninety-Five Theses. Martin Luther protested against the power of the pope and the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church.

Luther felt that the spirit of Christianity does not because the involved organization headed by the pope, but it is in each person’s direct communication with God. He also said people needed only faith and the Bible to guide the live of Christian followers. Luther protested the way of Roman Catholic Church to get salvation. He said that every Christian people can directly talk to God to get decrease of penalty and guilt. They also can confess their sins, even without letters of pardon from the pope (the top religious leader). Pope and the papal pardons are not able to remove the sins. The true treasure of the Church is the Most Holy Gospel of the glory and the grace of God.

Since that time, his ideas spread and there were groups of people left the Roman Catholic Church to form their own churches. Since that time they were called Protestants. In England, the King Henry VIII led the protest and established the Protestant Church of England.

The movement to reform Christianity is remembered as the Protestant Reformation. As a result of the Reformation, there are Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, and many other Protestant groups. Today there are a lot of people in the world call themselves Christians.

As a conclusion, the Protestant is a part of Christianity. The believe in God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

The Digestive System

Hi…I am a piece of cake. I want to start my journey into the digestive system of a small boy. It's a hard journey that goes over long distances and can take several days. But it is OK. I will be useful for him as a source of his energy.

My journey starts when I was chewed by him. I was bathed by his saliva that comes out from his saliva glands. I turn into small pieces and my starch begins to turn to sugar! Wow….there is a long pipe. Do I have to enter it? Yes….it is his throat. What is this? I get a muscle squeeze, wave-like contraction and it pushes me down into a tube called esophagus. This squeeze is called peristalsis.

I am in the stomach now. This is another place after esophagus. Stomach is like a bag. It contains a lot of digestive juices like acids and enzymes. That’s why I become smoother and it helps stomach to break me down into smaller part and into a thick liquid or paste. This thick liquid or paste is called chyme. In this place I get another digestive chemical.

It is time to go into small intestine. This is a place where the nutrients of me absorb by millions of villi, the finger-like objects and send me into the blood stream then continue my travels to all the body cells.

Some of me do not useful; it is my leftover which is undigested. Therefore, I have to go to the large intestine. It is quiet different from small intestine. It is wider and drier. My water is extracted and it is reused back into his body. I was a liquid paste before but now I change into the solid waste. Then, my parts were collected in the rectum as the end of large intestine. When the time comes, I have to leave his body by his anus. Now, my long journey is over.

The Facts

1. The leftovers that leave our body are about 1/3 the size of what first arrived in our intestines!
2. If we try to talk while swallowing food may enter the respiratory passages and a cough reflex comes.
3. Large intestine is shorter and thicker than small intestine.
4. Food passes through the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum, and out the anus.
5. The digestive system breaks down food two ways:
mechanical digestion- the chewing (in the mouth
) and churning (in the stomach)
chemical digestion- with the help of enzymes, into substances that cells can absorb and use. This occurs in the mouth, stomach and small intestines.
6.Once food gets partially broken down in the stomach, it becomes a thin watery liquid called chyme.
7. The pancreas releases digestive enzymes into the small intestines.
8. The large intestines absorb water from chyme so it can be used by the body.
9. Food moves past the mouth to the esophagus by gravity and peristaltis which is a squeezing action by smooth muscles.
10. Food usually stay in the stomach for about two hours.

MY HOLIDAY

On July, my family and I went to Bali for a week. We stayed in The Westin Hotel - Nusa Dua. It was a really fun holiday. We visited many beautiful places, such as Tanjong Benoa and Ubud. In Ubud I joined atv offroad for two hours and I managed to get to the finish line first. In the evening we had dinner at Bebek Bangil Restaurant which served very delicious baked duck. Bali is our favorite destination for holiday. On the next holiday I really want to go to Bali again.
